Harrington Young was founded in 1978 as a typography and publishing services firm in Berkeley, California, a family-owned and operated business serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years.

We provide consultation, graphic design, writing, editing, production and print management, applying skills once focused primarily on the printed page to the venue of the Internet, designing websites, content management and database systems to provide creative communication solutions.

2022 brings special news:  we have entered the publishing industry as an independent book publisher. Check back soon for information and availability of our titles.
