Harrington Young was founded in 1978 as a typography and publishing services firm in Berkeley, California, a family-owned and operated business serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. We became an independent book publisher in 2022.

We provide consultation, graphic design, writing, editing, production and print management, applying skills once focused primarily on the printed page to the venue of the Internet, designing websites, content management and database systems to provide creative communication solutions.
